Material 1.4410, also known as Super Duplex D8 or 1.4410 Duplex, is a stainless, austenitic-ferritic high-grade steel with exceptionally high strength. Due to its higher content of chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen, this special material achieves significantly higher performance than conventional duplex steels.
The material is classified as corrosion resistance class CRC V—the highest category for the toughest applications.
With its unique austenite-ferrite microstructure, the material combines superior strength with good formability. This makes it ideal for applications with high mechanical requirements.

Even under demanding conditions, such as in seawater or chemically aggressive environments, its resilience remains consistently high. In terms of fatigue and erosion, the material exhibits very good resistance to wear.
